Every person who puts their faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour, also makes a decision out of both desire and obedience, to “deny yourself , take up your cross, and follow” Him as a disciple.  Every disciple is instructed to “be baptised” as the public act which symbolises and demonstrates that private faith decision to the public – like the wedding vows and the rings in a marriage.
