An awesome encounter in Krakow!

A week ago I was in Krakow Poland on the final day of our annual Every Nation Europe Leadership Summit, with 268 leaders from all across Europe and beyond attending. Wow, what a highlight! The spirit faith and hope was incredible and I came away super encouraged. God has done so much, and He can do it again!

Pastor Jim Laffoon encouraged us to “see what is (what God is doing) and not what was.” and I certainly see a change of the tide coming on the campuses and in the nations of Europe.

I did this Facebook live stream on the final evening here, and here are a few pictures to tell the story… GO EUROPE! (By the way, current plans are for the 2018 Europe conference to be in London, 13-15 April 2018! – save the date and be there!Continue reading “An awesome encounter in Krakow!”

5 Threats to the Vision

Vision has the potential to be a very powerful thing. But it’s not an easy thing to execute.

January is over. How’s the vision you or your organisation had for this year going?

Recently I have been doing a fair amount of processing about vision, because at Every Nation London we have just had our annual “Vision Focus Sunday” where we share what the elders and pastors sense that the Spirit is saying to the church for the next season. It’s not a new mission (because we are very clear about that), but a focus on a particular area that is on God’s heart for us to move His mission forward through the church.

Casting a clear and compelling vision is one role a leader cannot delegate, and fulfilling a vision is something no leader can do on their own. Envisioning people is a great skill that ultimately gets everyone on board owning the vision as if it was their own.

Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision, and make it clear, so that those who read it, will run with it. – Habakkuk 2:2

But once a clear and compelling vision is cast, I have noticed that there are at least 5 great threats to vision becoming reality: Continue reading “5 Threats to the Vision”

Our Europe Pastors Boot Camp in pictures…

Our Europe Pastors Boot Camp in Ukraine last week was a huge success, with nearly 40 leaders from across Europe experiencing rich training from a great team of equippers. Our Lviv hosts were fantastic, and as always we worked hard and allowed a little time for playing hard as well 🙂

Thank you to all who serve, give and lead in all of our Europe churches to make these kind of events possible – Here are a few picture to share our event with you…

Inviting you to ELS 2015 in Berlin!

Berlin Fernsehturm Sunset

Calling anyone who has a heart to be a part of impacting Europe for Jesus! Our annual Every Nation Europe Leadership Summit (ELS) takes place in the great city of Berlin this year, 3-5 June.

Our theme is “GO EUROPE: Equipping leaders for greater discipleship momentum in Europe,” and we are super privileged to have pastor Steve Murrell as our keynote equipper.   We believe that the church’s primary mission is “to make disciples.” It’s one thing to want to “make one”, but “how do I make one?” Specifically, how do we do this effectively as individual and churches in a European context?  This is what ELS 2015 is about: Equipping leaders for greater discipleship momentum in Europe.

  • FOR WHO? The event is open to everyone who shares this passion, whatever your “title.”
  • DATES:  Starts 17.00 on Wednesday 3 June, finishes 22.00 on Friday 3rd June. (So travel in on Wednesday, back on Saturday)
  • REGISTRATION: You can find all details and online registration on our new EN Europe website here.
  • NOTE: There is a big Europe Football Champions League Final in Berlin on the Saturday following, which means accommodation is scarce for the Friday evening stay. So please book early to get a good flight and place to stay – recommendations are online.

Our Recent Europe Leadership Summit: Photo’s and links to the talks

ELS banner with theme Our recent Every Nation Europe Leadership Summit was a huge success, with the 150 leaders in attendance all receiving some of the best leadership input we’ve ever put on in Europe. Michael Fletcher from Manna Church was outstanding and practical, and Jim Critcher spot on with the prophetic.

Polish Heroes – spot the difference…

More faith heroes found in London today!

Przemek & Magda Sielatycki, senior pastors of our Every Nation church in Krakow, Poland, are in town for a few days and Ali & had a good catch-up with them in Covent Gardens today.  Afterwards Przemek & I went down to Trafalgar Square to reminiscence about when we first met in 1999: He’d come to London for a student break, and collided with God & connected with our church in what would be a truly life-changing encounter. I had the privilege of baptising him right in the Trafalgar Square fountains, and then Every Nation London sponsored him to serve an internship as campus worker at our church in Krakow, which had been planted by Jeff & Anna Bullock from the States. 6 years ago they handed the leadership over to Przemek…

Dont despise the days of small beginnings… every step of faithful obedience takes your forward in Gods amazing adventure…
