As we come up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it’s a good time to pause and consider our perspective on money and giving. You cannot live well without giving well. The clearest instruction on giving in the New Testament is found in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
6 Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
The BIG Question: What does it mean to “decide in your heart to give”? How much? Where to? To whom?
In this message I look at how we must Give our Hearts, Guide our Hearts, and Guard our Hearts, in order to make decisons that result in you “giving well.”
