We believe that God’s word to us in the Hammersmith Congregation for 2014 is from Genesis 49v22, where Jacob says to his son: “Joseph is a fruitful vine, planted by a well, whose branches run over the wall.”  

This is a quick update about some key events coming up at church as we get going with this new year:

VISION 2014  Leading up to Vision Sunday on 26 January, we are digging into the revelation and application of this word, under the themes IDENTITY, INTIMACY, and INFLUENCE. Listen here if you missed the first instalment of this word on IDENTITY last Sunday. (We are also still collecting for Foodbank throughout January)

CONNECT GROUPS LAUNCH AGAIN NEXT WEEK  Let’s do life together! All our groups run again from next week – find the one closest to you on our website Connect Group finder here.

TEACHING NIGHTS – From Monday 20 January. Rich and relevant Bible teaching every Monday evening. This term covers the subjects of “A lifestyle of Faith”, “Know your Bible”, “Discipleship”, “Everyday Apologetics”, and “Effective Prayer.”  7.15 – 9.15 at the church office. Just come along and see if this is just what you need to grow in this next season.

INNER HEALING AND DELIVERANCE SEMINAR – Sat 8 Feb. We are privileged to have the very experienced Ralph & Joy Green presenting this seminar for all who want to understand and receive this freedom ministry, as well as those who want to observe and learn to be equipped. Cost is £10 (£7 concession) including a manual. Time is 09.30 – 13.30, at St Paul’s Hammersmith. Online Registration here. Spaces limited.

VICTORY WEEKEND – 1 & 2 March.  This is a key part of our holistic discipleship ministry. On this weekend you will receive rich teaching and ministry to lead you into the freedom and fruitfulness that is yours in Christ – more info here.  We start with a Preparation for Victory evening on Monday 24 Feb, and then all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Location is at the church office. Cost is only £15, including notes & meals. Online registration opens by Vision Sunday.
