It’s a new year! Our prayer is that this year will be filled with Gods richest blessings and breakthroughs for you personally, and also for us as a church, and that He will use you and us together to do more than we have even imagined possible!
God’s word to us for 2014
We are excited about living out what we believe is God’s “now word” for us this year, from Genesis 49v22:
“Joseph (Every Nation London / you) is a fruitful vine, A fruitful vine by a well, whose branches run over the wall.”
Over the Sundays in January up to Vision Sunday we will dig into this word and I believe that the revelation and application of this word is going to be very enriching as it speaks to us about our Identity, Intimacy & Influence.
Getting into the stride of 2014 with a week of consecration:
We want to get right into our stride from the beginning of the year, and our team has worked hard to ensure that all that is in our program is purposeful and relevant to helping you follow Jesus, and for us to pursue our mission to make disciples and make a difference together.
Starting 2014 right with a week of consecration:
(To “consecrate” means to make or declare something sacred; dedicate formally to a divine purpose)
- WHEN: From Monday 6 – Saturday 11th January
- PURPOSE: Devoting ourselves to Christ and His cause in 2014, through Prayer, Fasting & supporting Foodbank
- FOCUS: We will have a daily devotional which will begin to focus us on what we believe is Gods word for us for this year
- ACTION: Choose your fast, either a day, a few days, a set of meals, a favourite activity – whatever you feel led to in order to seek God wholeheartedly. Also, join us for a night of devotion on Thursday 9th, 7-9pm.
- FOODBANK: During January we will also be collecting items of food in support of Foodbank, and information will be available at the services.
Please also diarise the following key events coming up in January:
- Thurs 9, 7 – 9pm: Night of Devotion through prayer & worship
- Thurs 16, 7 – 9.15pm: All Connect Leaders Evening
- From Sun 19: Connect Groups Launch this week
- Mon 20 – Teaching Nights start again – dynamic relevant Bible teaching for everyone.
- Sun 26 – Vision Sunday 2014!
- Sat 8 Feb, 09.30-13.00: Inner healing and deliverance seminar
- Sun 16 Feb: Welcome to Church lunch for new people
- Mon 24 Feb: Preparing for Victory Evening
- March 1 & 2nd: Victory Weekend
