I’m in the middle of a 100km stand up paddle-boarding adventure down the Tames River with my teen daughter Amy – before yesterday she’d never done more that 3km’s on a paddleboard! The cause is to raise sponsorship for a summer mission trip she’s doing in Bulgaria with the Trussell Trust, doing summer camps for some of the most at-risk children from a local orphanage.
We’ve done two days covering 60km in total so far, eventually having to stop today because of the strong wind & rain just past Windsor… here’s the story in pics…
