24 hours in Gladiator country…

I’ve just spent 24 hours at a “round table” with a bunch of leaders from around the UK, facilitated by Gerald Coates (Founder of the Pioneer, The Jesus March, amongst many other things). Its been great to get a bigger perspective and meet some of those doing amazing things on this Island. The venue was Waverley Abbey House, where the opening scenes of the epic movie Gladiator was filmed. Hanging out with these leaders from various “streams” of ministry reminds me of the truth of Maximus’ words in the movie, as they entered the arena with everyone expecting them to be slaughtered, “Whatever comes out of these gates, we’ve got a better chance of survival if we work together. Do you understand? If we stay together we survive.”

There IS power in agreement. Two ARE better than one. Lets stay together and walk together…
