Here’s my prayer for you and for myself today:

“We…pray that our God will make you fit for what he’s called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus, He will honour you.” – 2 Thess 1v11 (The Message)

Remember:

• God has called you… (Yes you! He’s got Kingdom business assigned to you)
• You need to stay “fit” to fulfil your calling… (are you getting enough spiritual exercise?)
• He gives you good ideas… (what good God idea is stirring in your heart right now?)
• Step out in acts of faith… (if you don’t step out of the boat, you’ll never walk on water. What step can you take this week to action your ideas?)
• Make sure that you are receiving “His energy” for “His work”… (Stay plugged in to the Word and the Holy Spirit to receive “power from on high”)
• Believe that your small part WILL amount to something SIGNIFICANT (don’t despise the day of small beginnings)
• Make it about Jesus – always about and for Jesus!
• Accept the ways in which God will honour you (dump that false humility! – you are an ambassador of heaven, a Kings Kid, a Royal priest!)
