“Rising Again” is one of the great themes of Scripture. Along the path of life, all of us, along with even the strongest, at some time fall down, get tripped up, pushed over, and sometimes just plain lie down in depression exhaustion or hopelessness. The consequence of sin gets us all down in the dust. Maims us. Kills us.
The message of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead echoes through the ages to everyone everywhere: YOU CAN RISE AGAIN!!!
Listen to this from 2 Corinthians 5verse 14 & 15, from The Message Translation: “…One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.”
And from Proverbs 24 verse 16
… for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again,
but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.
