What a refreshing week in UK polictics: First the Opposition leader David Cameron (Conservative) makes some strong statements about positive the role of marriage in society, and even suggests some tax breaks for married couples, and then our new Prime Minister Gordon Brown (Labour) seems to make a u-turn on Labour’s previous absurd “super-casino’s to regenerate the UK’s disadvantaged communities” program. (Who ever thought up such a stupid idea?)
Off course not everyone is excited about the idea of someone daring to mention that “M” word, and one reporter bluntly told David Brown that we dont like to be “lectured” on how we should live. “I’m not lecturing anyone,” he replied, “but we cant continue to ignore the clear facts of good research.” Go David. Go Gordon. Give us something to vote for….
